MATCH ANALYSIS BETWEEN THE POWER AND NORMAL PLAY

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to assess the match analysis on power play and normal play between the India and Australia match of T-20 ICC world Cup 2024. The subject was taken from the T20 ICC Men’s World Cup 2024 team. The data were collected during the live telecast of the match through video recorders and Scoresheet. The subject was selected from the super 8s stage of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. In power play, Australia scored 65 runs with 1 wicket down and India scored 60 runs with 1 wicket down whereas India won by 24 runs in T-20 ICC world cup in super 8s stage. It is also concluded that in case of this particular match scoring more runs in the power Play does not favour the winning of the match instead normal play contributes a lot India to win the match.
