This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of electromagnetic wave propagation in dyonic fields, where particles known as dyons—possessing both electric and magnetic charges—alter the traditional dynamics described by Maxwell’s equations. By incorporating dual-charge sources into the electrodynamic framework, we reformulate classical field equations to develop a dual-symmetric model that better represents theoretical predictions found in grand unified theories and quantum field models. The study investigates how the presence of dyons influences fundamental wave properties, specifically wave speed, polarization, and attenuation. The results reveal that wave speed becomes dependent on both electric and magnetic charge densities, leading to anisotropic propagation and modified refractive indices in dyon-rich media. Polarization behavior is also affected, with the emergence of elliptical and rotating polarization states due to intrinsic electric-magnetic field coupling. Furthermore, attenuation increases as magnetic current densities introduce additional mechanisms of energy dissipation beyond those observed in conventional dielectrics or conductive media. Using analytical methods and theoretical modeling, this research demonstrates that the presence of dyons significantly reshapes electromagnetic wave dynamics, suggesting potential applications in advanced plasma systems, metamaterials, and astrophysical phenomena. The findings contribute to an extended understanding of electrodynamics under dual-charge conditions and provide a theoretical basis for future experimental and computational studies aiming to simulate or detect dyonic effects in controlled environments.
