This paper carried out a comprehensive examination of judicial review in India, investigating how courts uphold constitutional constraints on governmental actions. The research delineates the historical development and constitutional underpinnings alongside India's specific constitutional clauses (Articles 13, 32, 131-136, 141-143, and 226-227). Significant discoveries indicate clear domains: India's fundamental structure concept permits examination of legislative, executive, and constitutional modifications. The study examines the influence of judicial review on the safeguarding of fundamental rights under the constitutional frameworks.
