Abstract

This study examines the policies and practices aimed at increasing women's representation in the Indian defense sector. Despite recent advancements, women remain underrepresented in the sector, comprising only 3% of total personnel. This research analyzes
the challenges and opportunities faced by women in the defense sector, highlighting the need for inclusive policies and practices to promote gender equality and enhance national security.
