Abstract

The study aims to identify barriers, understand regional disparities, and highlight initiatives promoting inclusivity and participation. By examining this intersection, the research seeks to provide recommendations to create culturally sensitive fitness programs for women. This paper explores the interplay between cultural norms and traditions and women's participation in fitness activities. It highlights the barriers and facilitators shaped by cultural contexts, using qualitative and quantitative approaches to identify how differing beliefs and practices impact women's access, engagement, and performance in fitness environments. The discussion emphasizes the necessity for culturally sensitive fitness programs that cater to diverse female populations.
