The Impact of Human Resource Strategies on Fostering Innovation within the Hospitality Sector
Innovation serves as a fundamental catalyst for achieving competitive advantage in the hospitality sector, where customer demands and market conditions are in a state of constant flux (Dhar, 2015; Baum et al., 2016). Human resource (HR) practices are essential in creating a workplace that promotes creativity, knowledge exchange, and ongoing enhancement (Foss & Laursen, 2012; Jiang et al., 2012). This research investigates the influence of HR strategies—including talent acquisition, training and development, performance management, and organizational culture—on innovation in hospitality firms (Boxall & Purcell, 2016; Noe et al., 2020). Through the examination of industry trends and case studies, the study underscores the significance of employee engagement, leadership backing, and a collaborative culture in fostering innovative service offerings and improving operational performance (Kim & Brymer, 2011; Tang & Tang, 2012). The results indicate that well-structured HR practices can boost employee motivation, enhance skill development, and improve adaptability, ultimately facilitating sustained innovation and business success in the hospitality industry (Delery & Roumpi, 2017; McKinsey & Company, 2022).
