Abstract

Virtual Reality (VR) is transforming educational practices by offering immersive and interactive environments that enhance student engagement and improve learning outcomes. This paper explores the multifaceted impact of VR in education, focusing on how immersive technologies reshape traditional learning models. With the ability to simulate real-life scenarios and abstract concepts, VR presents unique opportunities for experiential learning. This study utilizes qualitative and quantitative methods to assess the effectiveness of VR in promoting deeper understanding and retention of educational content among students. The study utilizes surveys, controlled experiments, and case studies carried out at various educational stages and across multiple academic disciplines.. Results reveal a significant increase in student motivation, engagement, and academic performance when VR tools are integrated into the curriculum. However, challenges such as cost, accessibility, and teacher training persist. The paper concludes with recommendations for effective implementation of VR in classrooms and highlights areas requiring further research.
