Today, our world faces numerous challenges and problems. In the current era, we are solely focused on money and material comforts. The relationships between individuals are now driven by self-interest. This was not the case in ancient times; the change in human personality is amplifying the distortions in relationships. Today, the personalities of children, youth, and adults are all influenced by modernity. We are gradually forgetting our religious scriptures, Vedas, Upanishads, and our culture. As a result, our lives are becoming stressful and troubled, and personalities are disintegrating. Today, we need to incorporate the universal and supreme scripture, the Ramcharitmanas, into our lives. Who is not fascinated by the personality of Lord Hanuman depicted in the Ramcharitmanas? His life is a universal source of knowledge. His personality is filled with qualities like leadership, devotion, positivity, hope, reverence, gratitude, self-confidence, and foresight. By adopting his role model, we can develop good qualities in our personalities and manage our lives better. In short, Lord Hanuman's personality is imbued with the finest qualities described in psychology. Indian psychology also incorporates all the elements of human nature described in Indian scriptures to define personality. Therefore, this research paper attempts to explain the life and personality of Lord Hanuman, the beloved devotee of Lord Rama, from various psychological theories. This will help individuals to understand its psychological significance, purify their personality development, and manage their lives simply and clearly.
