The vital role that government initiatives play in assisting farmers and agriculture is examined in this study. Governments lower production costs and increase agricultural profitability by offering financial support, such as subsidies for seeds, fertilizer, and equipment. Programs for education and training give farmers access to contemporary methods, promoting higher yields and sustainability. Additionally, funding for research and development results in advancements in agricultural techniques and crop kinds. To help the farmers, various agriculture related schemes are being run by the Rajasthan government and the state government is committed to ensure that the benefits of these schemes reach the farmers with ease and fairness. Information about the objectives, grants and eligibility of various important farmer welfare and agriculture development schemes of the agriculture and allied departments of the Rajasthan government such as farm pond, irrigation pipeline, ditch, fencing of fields, agricultural machinery, awards to farmers, seed minikit, micro irrigation, greenhouse etc. has been provided in the article. The development of infrastructure makes it easier for farmers to access markets and successfully sell their produce. Programs for crop insurance provide protection against losses brought on by weather-related events and changes in the market, while sustainability campaigns encourage environmentally friendly agricultural methods. When taken as a whole, these government initiatives are crucial for bolstering the agriculture industry, guaranteeing food security, and fostering rural economic growth. Conclusion, suggestions and bibliography have been included at the end of the research chapter
