Consumer attitudes significantly influence food purchasing patterns, particularly in light of the expanding variety of food options, including organic, conventional (non-organic), and nutritionally enhanced products. This literature review synthesizes current scholarly and practical studies to evaluate how perceptions guide buyer choices within these food categories. It investigates major influencing factors such as health awareness, ecological responsibility, demographic variables, cost considerations, trust in labeling, and knowledge of nutritional value. The review also identifies existing research gaps, draws comparisons among the different food types, and proposes avenues for future investigation.
