Importance of Health Care robots in Hospital Management System for minimizing the Risk of Patient Life

Abstract

This paper presents the effective role of robots in hospital management system and allied areas with special concerns relating to the control of the spread of the novel disease. The prime utilization of such robots is to minimize person-to-person contact and to ensure cleaning, sterilization and support in hospitals and similar facilities such as quarantine. This will result in minimizing the life threat to employees working in the field of health care centre. This paper majorly focused on the importance of medical robots in general and then to connect its utilization with the perspective of pandemic situation so that the health care centre can direct themselves to maximize the utilization of medical robots for various medical procedures. Further, this study helps to select the best suitable robot from the various available candidate robots with giving weights to the specific condition as per the user’s requirement.
