Abstract

This study investigates the impact of specific yogic exercises on the motor, physiological, and psychological variables in college-aged girls. With the increasing interest in holistic health practices, yoga has gained prominence for its potential benefits across multiple dimensions of well-being. The study involved a carefully selected group of college-going girls who participated in a structured yogic exercise program over a defined period. Various motor abilities, such as flexibility, balance, and strength, were measured alongside physiological variables, including heart rate, respiratory rate, and blood pressure. Psychological aspects were assessed through standardized tools evaluating stress levels, anxiety, and overall mental well-being. The findings reveal significant improvements in all three domains, with notable enhancements in flexibility, cardiovascular efficiency, and a reduction in stress and anxiety levels. These results suggest that regular practice of specific yogic exercises can contribute to the overall physical and mental health of young women, emphasizing the importance of integrating yoga into their daily routines. The study highlights the potential of yoga as a holistic approach to health, particularly for the youth demographic.
