The Role of Entrepreneurial Development Agencies in Promoting Entrepreneurship Development in Lakhimpur District of Assam: An Observation

Abstract

Women entrepreneurship development in Lakhimpur District, Assam shows an inconsistent growth rate with fluctuating participation. Despite the presence of several government and non-government Entrepreneurship Development Agencies (EDAs) offering skill training, financial aid, mentorship, and market linkages, their overall impact has been limited. This study identifies key Entrepreneurship Development Agencies (EDAs) and evaluates their contributions toward promoting women entrepreneurship in Lakhimpur, using secondary data from 2011–12 to 2020–21, analyzed through descriptive methods and visualized via line, and bar charts.
