This study examines the extent of the challenges faced by women in Self-Help Groups (SHGs) within the Nainital District of Uttarakhand. Utilizing a purposive sampling technique, a sample of 50 women from the Bhimtal block was selected for analysis. The findings indicate that various socio-economic constraints limit the ability of rural women to optimally access the benefits provided by these groups.
