Abstract

This study focuses on understanding and evaluating the employee retention strategies implemented at Reliance Smart Point in Nagpur. Employee retention is a critical issue for organizations striving for sustained growth and competitive advantage. With the retail sector evolving rapidly, it is essential for organizations like Reliance Smart Point to adopt effective strategies to retain skilled and experienced employees. This research investigates various factors influencing employee retention, including work environment, job satisfaction, career growth opportunities, compensation, and leadership style. Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods, the study analyzes employee feedback, management approaches, and industry benchmarks to identify the most effective retention strategies. The study highlights how employee engagement, recognition programs, training and development initiatives, and a positive organizational culture contribute to reducing turnover rates. The findings reveal that employees at Reliance Smart Point value career advancement opportunities, supportive leadership, and a fair work-life balance. The study also emphasizes the importance of competitive compensation and recognition programs in fostering employee loyalty. This research aims to provide actionable insights for the management of Reliance Smart Point to refine their retention strategies, ultimately leading to improved employee satisfaction, enhanced productivity, and organizational success. This study contributes to the broader understanding of employee retention practices within the retail industry, specifically in the context of a leading retail chain in Nagpur.
