Assessing Student Satisfaction with Administrative Services in Distance Education: Evidence from IGNOU's Jaipur Regional Office

This paper examines the level of satisfaction of students with distance learning administrative support, focusing specifically on the Indira Gandhi National Open University's (IGNOU) Jaipur Regional Office. To facilitate student services such as registration, exam procedures, and academic counseling, the study aims to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative support systems. A structured survey procedure was followed to collect data from 150 students enrolled in various programs offered by IGNOU Jaipur. The paper studies factors that influence student satisfaction in terms of ease of access to information, promptness of response from administrative staff, and digital tools in service delivery. According to the results, vast majorities of students are generally satisfied with administrative services, focusing on increases in accessibility and openness brought about by to the application of electronic instruments.
