Genetic Algorithm-Based Optimization of Solar Cell Parameters for Enhanced PCE

Abstract

The directional effort towards more environment-friendly energy systems and harmless environmental conservation propels the growth of high-quality economic data strength of photovoltaic (PV) cells with advanced computational analysis and design optimization. In this study, semiconductor factors like the material, the thickness of the absorber, energy gap, interface recombination velocity or velocity of carriers at the interface was studied using the Random Forest (RF) regression as a black-box model predicting the performance of solar cell.
